Micah is a 6 year old neutered grey tabby. He is a friendly fellow and gets along well with other cats. Micah is litterbox trained, current on vaccines, and felv/fiv negative.

Caleb is a 6 year old black neutered male. He is very lovable and gets along well with other cats. He is litterbox trained, current on vaccines, and felv/fiv negative.

Dart, a 2-3 year old female Lab mix, is such a sweet girl. Although she's shy she gets along well with people and other animals. She is current on vaccines and heartworm negative.

Gumby is a 1-2 year old female Chow mix. She is really cute and playful and she gets along well with other dogs. Gumby is current on vaccines and heartworm negative.

Adoption Information

Adoption fees, which include a voucher to help with cost of spaying or neutering animal (if needed):

* $45 for cats
* $85 for spayed or neutered cats
* $87 for dogs
* Puppies and kittens - Costs determined by vaccinations/tests performed

Currituck Animal Shelter is located at 204 Airport Road in Maple, beside the Currituck Regional Airport.

Shelter Hours

Monday 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Tuesday 12:00 noon - 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Thursday 12:00 - 6:00 p.m.
Friday 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday 11:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

All animals old enough have had all vaccinations, including rabies for dogs, and all tests, including the feline Felv/Fiv tests and heartworm testing for dogs.
