September Events at Cooperative Extension

The Cooperative Extension will host a Propagation & Grafting Workshop on Saturday, September 11 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

This workshop will feature Ozzie Coor of Coor Farm Supply, Landscapes and Greenhouses in Smithfield, N.C. He will teach you how to propagate and graft plants to preserve heirlooms and save money by producing your own plants.

Fee for the workshop is $25.00 which includes all supplies and lunch. Registration fees are due prior to the workshop.

The Cooperative Extension is hosting Plants, Pests and Pathogens on Tuesday, September 14 at 10 a.m. Topic for this session is "Beneficial Insects".

The program is viewed live through Elluminate with specialists from NC State University. It will be held at the Currituck Extension office in Barco, next to Central Elementary School and is free to the public.
