Electronic Funds Transfer Enrollment Form

With Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) service, your water or sewer bill payment will be deducted from your checking account on the due date printed on your bill.

EFT offers many advantages: no late charges; no checks to mail or stamps to buy; and no trips to the Water Office to pay your bill in inclement weather! However, please keep the following in mind:

  • If you think your bill is in error, you should notify the Water Department immediately.
  • High bills due to leaks or excess consumption may be deducted from your checking account before any adjustments are approved and posted to your account.
  • Any changes to, or cancellation of, your EFT enrollment must be made in writing and received in the Water Department not less than thirty (30) days before the effective date of such change or cancellation.
  • Transactions rejected by the bank for any reason other than bank error will be treated as a returned check and charged a $25.00 fee.

Just complete the enrollment form and return it to the Currituck County Water Department. Please read the entire form carefully, provide the requested information, sign and return to the address at the top of the form. You must include a voided check with your enrollment form, or have your form signed by an officer of your bank.
