Open House to View Proposed Recreation Facilities

The public is invited to view plans for recreational facilities proposed near Maple Park and the Cooperative Extension Center in Barco. Currituck County Parks and Recreation staff will host an Open House on Tuesday, November 15 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the Cooperative Extension auditorium.

The public is invited to provide feedback and help select a name for the new community center complex. This facility will include the YMCA, Senior Center, outdoor playing fields and much more.

Light refreshments will be served and county staff will be available to answer your questions.
