Extension Offering Bonsai Class

Currituck County Cooperative Extension is sponsoring a Bonsai Class on Saturday, March 13. A class fee is $50.00 and the instructor will be Ronnie Baum, of the Virginia Bonsai Society.

This class is for beginners and those already familiar with the art of Bonsai. A variety of plant material will be offered. All supplies are provided and lunch is included. The class will be held at the North Carolina Cooperative Extension, Currituck County Center, facility in Barco, NC next to Central Elementary School.

Class hours are from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Class size is limited to 15. Call the Cooperative Extension office at 232-2262 or e-mail Jan Perry-Weber at jan_perry-weber@ncsu.edu for a registration form.
