Daffodil Show Coming In March

The Northeast North Carolina Daffodil Society in conjunction with the Currituck County Center of NC Cooperative Extension and the Master Gardener Volunteers of Currituck County invite you to both enter your daffodils into the show and to view the vast collections of daffodils at the show on Saturday, March 20 at the Currituck County Extension facility.

Entries will be accepted from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 19, and from 7:30 am to 9:30 am on Saturday, March 20. There are categories for youth (children), novice, small grower and experienced growers.

Bring your daffodils to the show during the entry hours and a friendly member of the show staff will assist you in putting them into the show. Materials and entry vases are provided.

Public viewing of the daffodil show will be from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 20. An awards ceremony is at 2:00 p.m.

If you would like to join the Northeast North Carolina Daffodil Society there will be a meeting on Saturday, February 27 at 9:30 a.m. at the Currituck Extension office.
