Superior Court

The Superior Court hears felonies and some civil cases. Hours of operation are weekdays from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. You may reach the Superior Court at 252-232-2010, ext. 285 or ext. 284.

General District Court

The General District Court hears traffic violations, small claims cases (claims up to $4,000), and all misdemeanors. It is open weekdays from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. For questions regarding traffic tickets or other information, call 252-232-2010, ext. 285 or ext. 284.

Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court

The Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court has jurisdiction over cases involving neglected children and other family issues. The Court is open weekdays from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. For more information, call 252-232-2010, ext. 282 or ext. 280.
