Communications
The Currituck County Communications Center offers a fast, effective communications link between the citizens of Currituck County and emergency responders. The center provides dispatch services for multiple agencies, including fire, rescue, and law enforcement. The department most often serves as the first point of contact when someone is calling for emergency assistance.
Personnel of the Communications Department strive to deliver the highest level of service to the public. It is the department's mission to not lose sight that the citizens of Currituck County entrust their safety and well being to our care.
What This Department Does

Serves the following agencies: Currituck Sheriff's Office, Currituck Emergency Medical Services, Currituck Fire Departments, Fire Prevention, Magistrates, NC State Highway Patrol , Animal Control, NC Forestry Service, NC Wildlife Resources Commission , Currituck Emergency Management, NC Probation and Parole, and Juvenile Services
